App Inventor
With App Inventor, I got the chance to build my own apps. They weren't perfect but it was fun doing something I've never done before and actually being successful. I was allowed to make games, for example we made an app called Hello Purr, Magic 8 Ball, and a ping pong game called Pong. Me and my partner also made a quiz that's playable on the android, and android tablet. Many of the problems I solved using App Inventor were basic misunderstandings and wrong placing with components inside of the coding. Also I had to do a lot of trial and error while using App Inventor. App Inventor is not that complicated to use when doing simple things, but it will take a lot of patience if you actually want to do something very big and specific. Simple things like an AP US History does not take much time because your given a tutorial and all you have to do is follow it. Other than that without a tutorial it takes an significant amount of patience to work with. I may not have done much with the program but I would love to keep working with it and see how good I can get with coding.
Magic 8 Ball
We did the magic 8 which is a mock of the classic 8 balls. You have to ask a question, shake it after then it gives you a random answer for the question you asked.
Hello Purr
Made a app which when you touch the cat on the screen and it purrs. This was the first app I made and it couldn't have been any easier.
Pong
A game of ping pong.
